CHIEFS TOURNAMENT RULES

 

USA Hockey Junior Rules will apply to this league and be available to all coaches during the season.

Each Game will consist of three (3) , stop time periods.

If one team leading by (6) goals in third period,clock game will become running time and not end till final buzzer. mercy rule, if one team is winning by nine goals in third period game becomes final.

No overtimes will be played during regular league play only semi and finals.

2-Head to Head competition

3-Least amount of goals allowed,

4-Goal differential,

5-goals scored

PLAYOFF TIE BREAKERS

If games end in a tie at the end of regulation in the Championship games, then one six (6)minute, five on five. In results of tie then there will be one (6) minute four on four. If teams are still tied after second sudden death period teams will go to 5 man shoot out

. Player availablity

all players must play in at least one round robin game to be available for semi- final games. ( no exceptions)

players are only alowed to play for one team in entire tournament (goalies substitutions will be only exceptions)

since this a beer tournament. all players must be at least 21 yrs of age.

Any fighting will result in an automatic game ejection and will not be allowed to compete in the next game

second fighting will result in player being ejected for the remainder of tournament (no refunds will be given)

. It is the referee’s discretion on whether a call is roughing or fighting.
